Light at the end of the tunnel. The tiny square of light is the exit to the cave where we store our wine. There’s 3 kilometres of road down there! We surfaced with an eclectic bootful of bottles, some we recognise, some will be complete surprises.

Day 2 in the great outdoors and a heavy morning mist. How the days change rapidly at this time of year. Grey mists and hidden landscapes in the morning changing to bright sunshine and clear, fresh air in the evening.

Posting this a day late. On Monday, I noticed ed all my photos were taken in the house, so it was time to step into the great outdoors with my camera. It did not take long to make a discovery. Not only have the daffodils been in flower since 16th December, but the crocus are bursting through. It is not a great photo, but I love the strength of the colours and all the different shades of green, from strong and dark to weak and pale.

The original pots used to be ceramic and very stylish, but it still tastes as good on hot toast and the graphics on the new pot are just right.
